The 2013 Missoula Continuum of Care Services and Programs Chart reflects the most common entry points into the community system of services and programs addressing housing insecurity but people can enter at different places. As the Chart suggests, Missoula's system includes many private and public agencies which provide a wide range of services addressing crisis stabilization, housing stablilization and permanent housing supports. These agencies refer clients to a smaller group of basic needs assistance providers. Through referrals and cooperative service agreements agencies are, together, able to meet needs of varying intensity along the Continuum. People enter and exit the Continuum as needs change. Progression through the Continuum is rarely lockstep or linear. To learn more about the CoC, read Understanding Missoula's Continuum of Care and How it Works.
